Follow North Atherton Street (business Route 322W) out of State College.
After the intersection of Valley Vista Drive & N. Atherton Street (Lowe’s & Home Depot corner), follow the overhead signs (three) to Gray’s Woods/Waddle/Rt 550, and then (three more) to Waddle/Rt 550. (Do not take the I-99 left to Altoona or the Gray’s Woods exit which goes straight.)
Just after the roadside sign to Waddle, make a sharp right onto Stephenson Road (a green street sign) just before the sign to Skytop Mountain Road Rt 550.
Go 1.5 miles through the village of Waddle to the stop sign at the T.
Turn right, go ½ mile, and turn left onto Julian Pike.
Follow Julian Pike over the mountain into the village of Julian. (Caution: at the top, the road takes a sharp right curve.)
Down in the village, turn right at the second stop sign, then left across a RR track to the stop sign at Alt US-220N. Turn right (onto Alt-US 220N) and go 1.5 miles.
Watch for a black rural mailbox with a red triangle, and make the next left turn at the green street sign, Julian Woods Lane, which is a gravel road. (There is also a tall wooden sign for Julian Woods Community.)
Follow the lane up the hill ½ mile to the signpost at the driveway, which reads Endless Circle/O-An Zendo. Park on either side at the top of the driveway. Walk up the stone steps under the arbor to the entrance. (Approximate travel time from State College 25 minutes.)
